Sandringham House

 

Sandringham House was built by King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra.

It was handed down through four generations, the house is filled with many mementoes and memories of the Royal Family.

There are many Portraits, porcelain, jade and crystal figures, silver gilt, bronze and marble sculptures and oriental armour.

Private evening tours of the House are available by prior arrangement.

There is a Visitor Centre & Country Park.

On the site is a air-conditioned self-service restaurant.

Gift shop that sells British products.

Royal Gardens Flower and Plant Stall.

Woodlands and heath walks through Country Park.

Vintage Royal motor vehicles.

Collections of photographs.

The Visitor Centre is open daily from 1 April to 31 October (closed Good Friday)

then weekends only until Easter 2002.

Wheelchair access throughout-helpers admitted free.
