African Violet Centre

About 3-4 miles outside of King's Lynn along the A17 is situated 'The African Violet Centre' at Terrington St Clements. It is a unique garden specialising in the production of African Violets. It occupies approx half an acre of green houses that contain a colourful collection of the most popular house plants. 

The center started around 1970 and each year the breeding programme ensures a constant stream of new plants. These can be purchased at the Shop on the site.

In the show house certain plants are selected and prepared for flower shows throughout the summer seasons. The Propagation House has thousands of plants in all stages of growth small plantlets from sterile tubes being weaned under cover until they are ready for potting. You should make this a must for your visits to this area you will be pleased you went.
